Our nation has evolved a great deal since those words were first uttered. In that time we have accomplished many things.  American innovation, ingenuity and hard work have allowed us to prosper into the most powerful nation on Earth. There is much to be proud of.     And yet, look around today and what do you see? At every turn there is widespread suffering and heartache. Thousands walk our streets at night with no place to call home. Crime is rampant in nearly all of our major cities. The health care system is laughable to all but those who need it.  And we are facing serious problems with regards to drugs, immigration, the economy, energy supplies, employment, Social Security, pollution and climate change. The list is to many to name here. (that's what the site is for!). Yet perhaps most stressing is the current state of Education in America. Nearly half of all public high school students in the fifty largest cities are failing to graduate.  Our children are not learning the things they need to know.  They are being left behind by failed policies, bad parenting, and distractions from every aspect of our society. Worst of all, we are not informing and educating ourselves about what is happening around us. It's hard to keep up with everything that is going on in the world today. With hundreds of TV stations, the internet and our busy everyday lives it is no wonder that we sometimes get lost in it all. And that is exactly what those in power would prefer. They want to keep us distracted, so as to not pay attention to what is happening in the Congress, the board rooms or in the streets. When we are not informed, we are divided. And we do not speak our voices. Not because we lack the ability. Because we lack the interest. These problems require urgent attention. We can no longer live in denial and look the other way. I firmly believe that each of these can be overcome if we the people were simply educated about the facts, and cared enough to use our Constitutional powers to change them.     This is no small task. In order to do this, we will need honest debate from both sides of the issues.  Partisan Politics will not solve our problems. And it's become increasingly clearer that we can no longer rely upon our elected officials or the corporate media to bring that debate to our doorstep. We must create it amongst ourselves. Seek it out, and discuss these topics with one another. Discuss them at work, in the car or at the dinner table. Anywhere you can. When we are informed as citizens, our government, the special interests, and the corporations shall no longer control our fate. It is no longer ‘paranoid’ or ‘conspiracy theory’ to say that we have lost control. It is painfully obvious to anyone who will take the time to look at the facts. Our elected officials do not represent the will of the people. They have put their interests, and those of their corporate friends before those of our Nation. We cannot afford to wait any longer. Change must come and we are here to see that it does. I have created this site for exactly this reason. It is intended for persons of all types. From every neighborhood of every town in every state in the country.    Come one, come all. And let us educate each other on the things that really matter and discuss our future. I do not support, or have any interest in any political 'Party'. I believe that the people of this great country should work together, not against each other. As human beings, we will disagree. It is in our very nature.But these issues are too important to decide based on party lines. For this reason I encourage you to forget about your 'party' for a moment and think about what is best for our country. Let your voice be heard on the issues. Don’t just agree or disagree. Join the debate! Some will be right sometimes, Others will be right another. We will not always agree. Yet we must always be United in our Goals...
